Craig is a research fellow at the Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing and Research at the University of NSW. Before that Craig was a research fellow at the Rural Clinical School of WA.

His training is in Psychology (PhD 2010) and he have been interested in advance care planning, supported decision-making and end of life care over the past eight years, particularly in the rural context and among people living with dementia.

Craig is currently working on a project on supported decision-making among people with dementia, along with other collaborators with expertise in health, law and aged care, through the Cognitive Decline Partnership Centre.
