Host an event

Join us this year

National Advance Care Planning Week will run during 23 March - 27 March 2020.

During National Advance Care Planning Week we’re encouraging all Australians to start the conversation about what is important to them and to consider their future health care preferences. You can take part in this initiative by hosting an event during March 23-27.
Whether it’s big or small, the aim of your event should be raising awareness of advance care planning and starting a conversation with attendees.

Here are some event ideas to consider:
-         Morning or afternoon tea
-         Foyer display
-         Seminar
-         BBQ
-         Workshop / Information session
-         Outdoor event
-         Community gathering
-         Lunch
-         Coffee / Book Club Group

What support is available for my event?
We will endeavour to send a goodie pack to registered event hosts to with printed collateral and some merchandise to help support their event. The contents of the packs will depend on stock availability but you can expect some or all of the following pens, stickers and flyers.

While we do our best to ensure all event hosts are supported, please understand that our resources are limited.
We recommend that hosts make use of our online resources, some of which can be printed for attendees. We also have resources to help you promote your event and assist in your planning.
