Ranjana Srivastava is an Australian oncologist, Fulbright scholar, award-winning author and Harvard scholar with a Master in Public Administration. She is a recipient of the Medal of the Order of Australia for her contribution to doctor-patient communication and the author of six books including Dying for A Chat: The Communication Breakdown between Doctors and Patients and A Better Death: Conversations about the Art of Living and Dying Well.

Ranjana writes a regular column on medicine and humanity for The Guardian and is a two-time finalist for the Walkley Award for Excellence in Journalism.
