Book an information session 

Our volunteer Community Ambassadors are available to give introductory information sessions on advance care planning to your club, group, event or organisation. Please note, we are currently only able to offer these sessions via webinar.

Information sessions are free and include a 40-minute presentation and question time. The presentation aims to increase community understanding of advance care planning, what the benefits are, and how to undertake the process.

If you're interested in hosting a session, we will:

  • work with you and our Community Ambassadors to find a mutually agreeable time to hold the session
  • assist your group or organisation to ensure our session will meet the needs of your attendees
  • work with you to advertise or promote the session

Our Community Ambassadors have been a part of our team since 2012. In this time they have provided more than 350 presentations to over 7000 people.

To request a session, download a request form and email it back to acpa@austin.org.au. Please allow 3-4 weeks for this booking process to occur.

Please note: During COVID-19 we will accept requests for webinar sessions.
