Advance Care Planning Australia is holding a special screening of Live the life you please, with a short film exploring advance care planning to begin the screening.
Live the life you please is an impact film that will change the way you think about palliative care. Told by medical professionals, patients and their families, it is an intimate portrait of the end of life experience and makes profound observations about life, death and what happens in between.
Live the life you please boasts a treasure trove of incredible stories captured all around Australia, from cities and regional centre to remote communities. It will make you smile, laugh, laugh harder and occasionally shed a tear as it shares the stories of a diverse range of Australians experiencing their last chapter.
Following the film, we will be hosting a live Q&A with an expert panel including film presenter Simon Waring, Advance Care Planning Australia National Program Director Xanthe Sansome, journalist and author of 'What will I wear to your funeral' Kellie Curtain, and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Deputy Chief Medical Officer and palliative medicine consultant Dr Sonia Fullerton.
